We often keep our burdens and challenging lived experiences, both past and present, to ourselves out of fear of not being understood by others. These burdens and experiences eventually begin to weigh us down, impacting how we move through life, interactions with others, and our overall mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
My focus is on your individual needs and unique experiences. My aim is to collaborate with you to create a plan to reach your therapeutic goals, by helping you identify your strengths and capabilities, and develop the tools you need during your therapeutic journey. My approaches include, Cognitive Behavioural, Compassion Focused, Culturally Sensitive, and Solution Focused Brief therapies. I strive to provide a safe, welcome, and comfortable space where you can be the truest version of yourself, and offer support as an empathic witness to your lived experience.

Reaching out to begin therapy requires vulnerability, trust, and the desire to know
oneself better. Setting aside that time just for yourself can feel selfish. However, I
believe that engaging in therapy is a brave act. Therapy is a date you make with
yourself to receive support as you navigate the inevitable ups-and-downs of life.
In terms of my approach, I blend multiple modalities and experiences to meet the
unique needs of my clients. I draw from Client-Centered Therapy (CCT), Relational
Cultural Therapy (RCT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), as well as mindfulness
and ritual practices. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed and anti-oppressive
practice.
Overall, my goal as a therapist is to bear witness and create spaces for my clients to
process, heal, and thrive.
